This Fishing Scene, 0756-U was drawn by my mother in the ’90s as were many of my images. This particular card was colored with colored pencils by Carol Mercill, a local rubber stamp artist.

Variety of Stamps in Frame #1
“Southwest Frame, Lg.” was stamped onto confetti tan card stock. The same image was stamped with Staz-on ink on a transparency and the insides of each square were cut to create a mask. This was used to stamp “Kokopelli #8, Med.” in Old Olive, “Navajo Design” in Rust, “Sunburst, Sm.” in Mustard, “Beaded Feather, Sm.” in Ruby Red, “Dream catcher, Sm.” in Navy and, “Wild Arabian Horse”, in Chocolate Brown. A Pearl Ex pallette was used to highlight Kokopelli with green, Navajo design with copper and the Sunburst with gold. The horse was water colored with Cocoa. Mustard highlights were added to the mane. The entire card was then sponged with Chocolate Brown, Rust and Caramel inks. The mask was used again, and each square was sponged with more Chocolate Brown to highlight them and sponged more heavily around the edges. Card by Chris Coslet.
Canoeing in Wilderness
Stamps used are “Brownie Forest”, “Duck #3”, “Tree/cliff”, “Tall Brownie Grove”, “Duck #4”, “Canoeing” and “Bear on Ledge, Lg.”. Images are stamped with a black Memories pad and colored with pencils and chalks. Card by Ann Mumper.
Heron Birthday Card
“Block Print, Heron with Border” is stamped in black Memories on white card stock, cut out and set aside. White card stock is stamped randomly in black with “Happy Birthday!” and layered on black glossy card stock. The cut out Heron is then layered on top of the background. Card by Margaret Wiggin.
Trout After Bait
“Rising Trout” and “Fly in the Water” are stamped on white card stock with a black Memories stamp pad and colored with pencils. This is layered on light green and white card stock. Card by Mary Connaway who also drew the images.
