Holiday Card Using Snowman, Lg.

“Snowman, Lg.” was stamped on white card stock and colored with markers. The vertical saying, “Happy Holidays” was created with the computer program, PrintMaster 15. Both the snowman image and the saying were torn to create ragged edges. These two pieces were glued to a Cranberry card cut from half of an 8 1/2″ x 11″ piece of card stock folded in half. Christmas Card Using Zuni Pot, Christmas Cactus & Roadrunner

Tan confetti card stock is edged with a gold Krylon Leafing pen and layered on red and green card stock. “Zuni Pot, Sm.” is stamped with a black Memories pad, cut out and set aside. “Christmas Cactus” is stamped on green construction paper using a forest green dye ink pad and cut out. The Christmas lights are colored with markers. The cactus is inserted into a slit which is cut into the “Zuni Pot” and both are foam mounted on the card so as to overlap the red layer at the top of the card. “Merry Christmas with Holly” is stamped in black on a piece of tan confetti card and the ivy is colored with green and red markers. This piece is edged with the gold pen, layered on a red piece of card stock and glued to the card overlapping two red layered edges. “Road Runner with Christmas Hat” is stamped in black on light grey confetti card stock, colored darker grey, orange, red and white. This piece is edged with red and the gold Krylon Leafing pen, then mounted with foam as shown. The finished size of this card is 6 1/4″ x 5″. Card by Vi Fisher and Margaret Wiggin.

Holiday Season Card Using Velvet and Winter Cabin

“Winter Cabin” is embossed with an iron on wine velvet and framed in white sparkle, black and silver card stock layered to form a frame. The inside and outside edges of the white card stock are embellished with a silver Krylon Leafing pen. A bow is added for accent. The scan does not do the card justice because of the very dark velvet. Card by Margaret Wiggin.

Holiday Season Card Using Snowflake Background

“Snowflake Background” is stamped with black Memories ink and colored with pencils. Handmade papers are torn and layered as an embellishment with a gold charm as a focal point. The card is layered on blue and white card stock. Card is by Mary Connaway who, also, drew the Snowflake Background.

Holiday Season Card Using Large Snowflake and Let it Snow!

“Snowflake, Lg.” was stamped on white card stock with a black Memories pad and colored with silver pencil. “Let it Snow!” was stamped in black three times on a deckle trimmed rectangle. The snowflake was glued to dark blue card stock and both were layered over gray mulberry paper and white card stock. Card by Mary Connaway who, also, drew the snowflake.

Holiday Season Card Using Christmas Cactus & Roadrunner

“Road Runner with Christmas Hat” and “Christmas Cactus” are stamped in black Memories ink on white card stock and colored with pencils. The star and the horizon with 3 tufts of grass are drawn, then layered on tan, burgundy and white background papers. Card by Mary Connaway who, also, drew the images.

Holiday Season Card Using Sleigh & Snowflake Background

“Snowflake Background” is stamped with a plum Marvy ink on white glossy card stock which is edged with a silver Krylon Leafing pen. “Let it Snow!” is stamped with black Memories ink. “Sleigh with Presents” is embossed in silver on cranberry card stock, cut out and mounted on foam dots. Holiday Season Card Using Snowflake Stamps

“Snowflake Background” is stamped with an Ultramarine Blue Vivid dye pad on Bristol white card stock which is glued to dark blue card stock. A narrow (1 1/4″) piece of light blue card stock with one edge cut with deckle scissors is sponged with the Vivid dye ink, repeat stamped three times with a single snowflake taken from the background stamp and glued on the left side of the dark blue card stock. Three snowflakes are inked with a marker and stamped inside “Southwest Frame, Sm.”  The frame is trimmed and layered over dark blue card stock and glued to the card as though snowflakes were falling. A dark blue bow is added at the top left corner. Card by Judy Conklin and Margaret Wiggin.
