Stamp Galore’s “Bold Block – Sailboat” is stamped twice with a Pearlescent Lavender Brilliance pad and once with a Cosmic Copper Brilliance pad, cut out and glued diagonally on Curious Metallic blue card stock as shown. Hero Arts “Smiling Sun” and Annette Watkins’ saying are stamped in Cosmic Copper on a square cut of white glossy card stock. This is edged with a copper Krylon Leafing pen and mounted on the blue card stock. Two bows are made with 1/2″ gold sheer ribbon and mounted on the card as shown. Western Saddle on Suede Background
“Western Saddle” is stamped with black Memories on white card stock and colored with grey and tan colored pencils. The white card stock is layered on black suede leather which is layered on white card stock that has a black box drawn near the outside edge and has been edged with a silver Krylon Leafing pen. The final layer is grey/blue card stock. Card is by Mary Connaway who, also, drew the saddle.
Fishing Memories
Stamps embossed in gold on dark green confetti card are “Spinner”, and “Creel, Sm.” which is edged with a gold Krylon Leafing pen. “Bold Block – Cabin”, “Bold Block – Fisherperson” and “Bold Block – Fishing Fly” are stamped in light brown on ivory card stock, cut out and mounted on the dark green confetti card stock. Walking Boots!
“Cowboy Boot” is embossed in copper four times on 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ ivory parchment card stock to give the appearance of the boots walking. It is colored with pencils. The words, “HOWDY” are embossed in copper with “Log Alphabet, Lg.” It is edged with a copper Krylon Leafing pen and layered on white card stock. Card by Mary Hansen.
Cowboy, Boots, Hat, Saddle
To give the shadow stamping technique appearance, deckle edge scissors were used to cut rectangles from card stock which had been colored with light colored pencils. The rectangles were then stamped and mounted on turquoise granite card stock. Sections of some of the images were colored with pencils. The granite card stock was edged with a copper Krylon Leafing pen and layered onto tan card stock. Sunset Picnic with Border & Rosemary Topiary
“Sunset Picnic with Border” is stamped on white card stock, colored with oil color pencils and cut out discarding the top and sides of the frame. This is layered over a red piece of paper cut about 1/4″ larger to form a border and is layered on brown parchment card stock and red card stock which has been edged with a Krylon silver Leafing pen. “Rosemary Topiary” is stamped twice on white card stock, colored with oil color pencils, cut out and foam mounted on both sides of the scene. Caribou in the Forest
Stamps used are “Caribou, Lg.”, “Rocks & Grass”, “Large Brownie Rock” and “Pine Silhouette.” The clouds are sponged using a stencil. The caribou is stamped once on ivory card stock, then stamped again, cut out (except for the antlers) and mounted with foam tabs to give a 3-D effect. The images are stamped in color and colored with pencils. The card is edged with a gold Krylon Leafing pen and layered on green card stock and confetti card stock. Card by Mary Hansen.
Rose Fan in Silver and Black
“Rose Fan, Lg.” is silver embossed on black card stock and cut out. Triangular corners are cut out of black card stock and silver embossed as shown with “Carved Rose.” The black triangles are glued to the silver card stock so that a center strip of the silver card stock shows. The cut out fan is adhered to all three pieces. The outside edges of the card are edged with a silver Krylon Leafing pen. Card by Margaret Wiggin.
Bold Block – Love Hand with Love & Peace Stamps
“Bold Block – Love Hand” is stamped on polymer clay, baked and painted (the two outside blocks). The center block is stamped on card stock, colored with markers and has a rhinestone glued to it. The word stamps, “Love” and “Peace” (a discontinued stamp; e-mail for availability) are stamped with a Rocket Red Brilliance pad, embossed with red embossing powder and cut with deckle edged scissors, then edged with a gold Krylon Leafing pen. Starburst Background with Love Stamps Accent
“Love” is gold embossed three times on a rectangular piece of kaleidoscope confetti card stock which has been edged with a gold Krylon Leafing pen. “Bold Block – Love Hand” is gold embossed on black card stock, cut out and placed on a second rectangular piece of kaleidoscope confetti card stock which has also been edged with gold and the “Love” stamp embossed in gold. These two pieces are layered over a black piece of card stock which has been embossed in gold using “Starburst Background.” Gold glitter glue is applied in the center of each star, on the fingernails of the hand, at the base of the heart, and in the corners of the Love Hand image. The black card is edged with gold and layered over four layers of card stock in the following order: (1) white, (2) gold, (3) ivory and (4) rust. Card by Margaret Wiggin.
