Cupped Hands Holding Rose with a Stem

“Cupped Hands” is stamped with a black Memories pad on Ninja Confetti by Fox River Paper Co., colored with pencils, the hands cut out and the “cuff” edge torn. Glaze is put on the fingernails. “Rose with Stem” is embossed in gold on white card stock, colored with markers and cut out. A slit is cut between the two hands and the rose is slipped into the slit. The Cupped Hands and the Rose are foam mounted on a lavender piece of card stock which is layered on tan card stock, wall paper, tan card stock and a lavender card. Yarn is secured with a brad on the two layers just before the final card. Card by Margaret Wiggin.

Holiday Season Card Using Snowman Trio and Snowflake Background

“Snowman Trio” is stamped with black Memories ink on white card stock and colored with pencils. Yellow, green and red Sakura Glaze pens are used on the hats, scarfs and buttons. “Snowflake Background” is stamped in black Memories on silver/blue wallpaper and trimmed with deckle scissors. The snowman trio card stock is layered on glossy red card stock, the Snowflake background wallpaper, black glossy and red glossy card stock. Card by Margaret Wiggin.

Brownies Using a Laptop

Stamps used are “Help, I’m Sick!”, “Computer”, “Up There”, “I’ll Think About It”, “Study, Study, Study”, part of  “It’s This Way”, “It Says” and “Tattered and Torn!” . The floor and wallpaper are drawn by hand with just lines and dots. Scene is layered on scrap book paper. Card by Ann Mumper.

Bleached Rose

“Rose with Stem” is stamped with bleach on royal blue card stock. Eyelets are set in the edges of the piece. This piece is layered on wallpaper edged with a gold Krylon Leafing pen, then layered on a blue rectangle which has also been edged with the gold Krylon Leafing pen. This is layered on a mauve card. Two Cats in Room

“Cat in Window” and “Cat Lapping Milk” are stamped with Memories ink on grey card stock, colored with pencils and cut out. Lines are drawn with a black pen at the top and bottom of a lavender piece of card stock to suggest the ceiling and floor. Wallpaper is glued to that piece and the “Cat in Window” is glued to the wallpaper. The “Cat Lapping Milk” is mounted on cushion at the lower left of scene. This piece is layered on hunter green card stock and the card which is Fox River Confetti Cover Smooth Kaleidoscope. The finished card measures 5″ x 6 1/4″. Card by Margaret Wiggin.

Beaver and Birch Grove

“Birch Grove” and “Beaver” were stamped in black ink on white card stock and colored with pencils. The message, “It’s been just One dam Project after Another!” was created on the computer, printed, trimmed with decorative scissors and layered over scrap book paper. The white card is edged with a gold Krylon leafing pen, layered on marbled green and gold wallpaper and black glossy card stock. Card by Emogene Swanson.
