Fruit Jar with Lid, Bouquet & “Just a Note”

“Fruit Jar with Lid” and “Bouquet, Sm.” were stamped on white card stock, colored with chalk and pencils and cut out. “Just a Note” was embossed in black on a piece of vellum cut in a rectangle and then mounted on a rectangle with rounded corners cut from lavender card stock. The jar and, “Just a Note” were glued to the yellow card stock and the bouquet was mounted on foam dots. Card by Anaka Kagen.

Rose Fan, Lg. Embossed in White on Vellum

“Rose Fan, Lg.” is embossed in white on the vellum which is cut smaller than the turquoise card stock. “Carved Rose” is embossed on the folded back corner and on the inside lower right corner of the card. Holes are punched through the vellum and card stock and a ribbon is tied in a bow to hold the two together. Card by Margaret Wiggin.

Thanks a Latte with Printed Vellum

This card is created by stamping with Thanks a Latte stamp.

“Thanks a Latte'” is stamped in black and colored with pencils. The rim of the cup and the triangles are highlighted with a gold pen. The card stock is torn by hand and the edges are shaded darker. A piece of decorative vellum is cut diagonally and layered on pebbled brown card stock and held in place with the original stamped torn card stock which is glued to the brown card stock. Two large swirls are punched from the vellum and layered under and over the original stamped torn card stock. Card by C. Ardrey.

Picket Fence with Flowers & Best Wishes Message

“Picket Fence” is stamped on white card stock, colored with markers and cut out. It is then layered on striped vellum which has been layered over medium blue and sage green card stock over yellow card stock which has been glued to the gray blue main card stock. “Best Wishes #2” is stamped in black on yellow card stock which is layered on medium blue and sage green and glued above the fence on the main card stock. The finishing touch is to draw connecting lines around the words, “Best Wishes” and the border of the card adding “x”s at corners and three dots near the middle of each side and at corners. Navajo Design, Dream Catcher and Kokopelli

“Navajo Design” is stamped with a rainbow pad on white card stock. A duplicate card of vellum is stamped in the rainbow pad with “Dream Catcher, Sm.”, “Kokopelli #8, Med.” and “Happy Birthday!”. The vellum is placed over the white card stock and small holes are punched at the top of the card so that the raffia can tie the two together. Card by Margaret Wiggin.

Happy Birthday Card with Teepee & Buffalo

On white card stock, “Navajo Blanket #4” and “Navajo Blanket #5” were stamped in earth tones rainbow pad so that when the vellum is placed over it, the blankets will mutely show. They were masked to show one blanket in front of the other. On vellum, “Teepee, Lg.”, “Buffalo, Lg.”, “Ceremonial Pipe, Sm.” and “Happy Birthday” were stamped in black Memories and colored with pencils on the opposite side. The two layers are tied together with raffia and finished with a bow. Card by Margaret Wiggin.

Line Drawn Balloon Used to Make Background

“Line Drawn Balloon” is stamped with a Calypso Kaleidacolor stamp pad on yellow card stock to create the background which is edged with Fiskars’ Art Deco scissors. “Frame #16, Southwest, Bold, Lg.” is embossed in gold on off white card stock and glued to the yellow balloon background. “Have a Wonderful Birthday!” is embossed in black on vellum and the back side of the vellum is colored by “direct to paper technique”.
