Stamp used is “Winter Cabin” and is embossed in black on white card stock. Two corners of background paper are punched and the white card stock is slipped into the slots created by the punch. It is then glued over mulberry paper and layered on gray and black card stock. Card by Thalia Sledge.

This card measures 9 1/2″ x 8″ overall. “Furling Flag Background” was stamped in brown Memories ink on scrapbook paper that has military emblems, etc. on it. “Eagle’s Head” is stamped on white card stock, colored with pencils, cut out and mounted on foam dots. Stamps used are “USA Flag Furling Sm.” and “Frame #21 USA 33 cents.” The flag stamp is inked with Rocket Red and Mediterranean Blue Brilliance pads four times on white card stock, cut out and glued as shown. The faux postage stamp is stamped in blue and cut out. A ribbon is glued diagonally across it and the cut out is glued to gold paper. All are layered as shown on blue and white card stock. “Zuni Pot, Lg.” was stamped in Memories black on glossy paper which had been created with a handmade mosaic stamp (made with rubber scraps) by dabbing fluid chalk reinkers (colors used were warm green, azurite, yellow ochre and warm red.) on a make-up sponge in a couple of colors for each pot and the pots were cut out to be mounted inside the frame. “Frame #6, Rope” was stamped in Memories black and colored with a tan marker. The area inside the rope border was made with the ColorBox direct-to-paper stylus tool using Brillance Pearlescent Beige. The center design of the pots was colored black with a marker and the center of the pot design was embellished with glitter. The pots were mounted inside the rope frame with one being placed a little lower and in front of the other pot so as to overlap part of it giving the appearance of one pot being in front of the other. “Golf Ball Santa with Border” is stamped twice on white glossy card stock using a black Memories pad and both are colored with watercolor markers, coloring one hat red and one hat green. The border of the stamped image is removed with scissors. Diamond Glaze is applied to the golf ball area to give a raised and rounded look to the ball. White Liquid Applique is applied to the trim of the hats and tassels, then heated to puff. A little color is placed on the tassels to match the hats. Glue is applied to the trim on the hat and white flock is applied with tweezers. These two pieces are layered over scrapbook paper, then white and green card stock. Card by Thalia Sledge.
The following ten stamps were stamped on white glossy card stock in brown and the images were lightly sponged with brown: “Sail Boat”, “Teddy Bear”, “Snowman”, “Blocks”, “Baby Bottle”, “Socks”, “Balloons”, “Angel”, “Tricycle”, “Bat, Ball and Cap.” The card was edged with a brown marker and layered onto light blue glossy card stock. The embellishment was created by using a small rectangle of glossy blue card stock, corrugated white card stock marked with a blue metallic gel pin in the groves and cork which has a bat and a ball charm glued to it. “Bold Block – Celestial Bunny”, “Bold Block – Heron”, “Bold Block – Blazing Sun”, “Bold Block – Rooster” and “Bold Block – Hummingbird” are stamped on glossy card stock using a black Memories ink pad and cut out. The background is made by stamping white glossy card stock three times in different colors with a scrap of rubber left over from trimming an unmounted stamp. The scrap is inked using a couple of drops of a chalk stamp pad re-inker on a cosmetic wedge. The rectangles are direct to paper small dye stamp pads. The blocks are attached in the pattern shown above. The glossy card stock is layered on steel blue grey card stock and a black line is drawn around the white glossy card stock. Card by Thalia Sledge.
On white glossy card stock, “Birch Grove” is stamped with Memories chestnut. “Moose Silhouette” is stamped twice with VIP Sepia. The trees and grass are shaded with LePlume markers. This is cut out and set aside. “Happy Birthday!” is stamped with dark brown ink on tan card stock and set aside. From the background card stock forward, the card is layered in the following order: Tan parchment, patterned checkered background paper, a rectangle of white card stock with four snaps adhered to the corners, dark brown mottled paper, and cut-out of trees and moose silhouettes. “Four Bees”, “Lamb #2, Lg.”, “Easel” and “Letters are Visits…” are stamped in brown Memories ink on gray hand made paper and the four bees are colored with pencils. “Bees and Hive” is stamped in brown Memories ink on tan card stock and colored with pencils.
