Happy Birthday Using Rose Fan

“Have a Wonderful Birthday!” is embossed in silver on mauve card stock which is layered on silver card stock. “Rose Fan, Sm.” is embossed on mauve card stock, cut out and layered over a cut out of silver card stock and adhered to the Mauve card stock. Card by Margaret Wiggin.

Happy Birthday in Silver and Blue

This birthday card is made using only silver and blue.

“Happy Birthday” is embossed in silver on a piece of turquoise card stock which has been edged with a silver Krylon Leafing pen. This is layered over a square of silver card stock. One half of the silver card stock is glued to the flap of the card which has been silver embossed with “Balloon Bouquet” and edged with silver.  “Happy Birthday” is embossed in silver on the inside of the card. The card itself is from a piece of card stock 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ which is 1/2 of a standard piece of card stock (8 1/2″ x 11″). Card by Margaret Wiggin.

Line Drawn Balloon Used to Make Background

“Line Drawn Balloon” is stamped with a Calypso Kaleidacolor stamp pad on yellow card stock to create the background which is edged with Fiskars’ Art Deco scissors. “Frame #16, Southwest, Bold, Lg.” is embossed in gold on off white card stock and glued to the yellow balloon background. “Have a Wonderful Birthday!” is embossed in black on vellum and the back side of the vellum is colored by “direct to paper technique”. Birthday Greeting Using Swirls & Dots Background

The corners of yellow card stock were cut with Fiskars’ Art Deco scissors. “Swirls & Dots Background” was stamped with a tinted embossing pad and the left of the card was embossed with rose glitter embossing powder, while the right side was embossed with a turquoise embossing powder. “Have a Wonderful Birthday!” and part of the “Fireworks” stamp were stamped with a Calypso Kaleidacolor stamp pad on white card stock and both were glued to the “Swirls & Dots Background.” Card by Davetta Alexander.
