Fireworks Background with Flag & Eagle’s Head

To create the background, “Fireworks” was stamped on white card stock using a Calypso Kaleidacolor stamp pad. “Happy 4th of July!” was stamped on yellow card stock using the same stamp pad. “Eagle’s Head” was stamped on brown paper using a black Memories pad, cut out, the beak colored with pencils and glued to the card. The eye was colored with pencils and Diamond Glaze was added to make it stand out more. Large stars were drawn onto shrink plastic, colored, shrunk and glued to the card.¬† “Furling Flag, Background” was stamped on white paper and colored with markers. Card by Davetta Alexander.

Fireworks Background with USA Flag Furling

“USA Flag Furling, Sm.” is stamped with Rocket Red Brillance on one piece of glossy white card stock, then another piece of glossy white card stock is stamped with Mediterranean Blue Brillance. the “stars” part of the flag is cut out and layered on the red flag. The red piece is trimmed closely and layered on glossy white and glossy red card stock. “Reach for the stars” is stamped using a Rocket Red Brilliance pad and is masked while “Fireworks” is stamped with a Pearl Ex Metallic Gold stamp pad and embossed in gold on a deckle edged white card stock. Happy Birthday Using Two Backgrounds

“Swirls & Dots Background” is embossed in gold on turquoise card stock and layered over white background paper that has been stamped with¬†“Fireworks” using a Calypso Kaleidacolor pad. Using the Calypso pad again, “Happy Birthday” is stamped on white card stock, cut out and glued to the “Swirl” & Dots Background”. “Line Drawn Balloon” is stamped with the turquoise section of the Calypso pad, cut out and glued to the “Swirl& Dots Background”, also. Birthday Greeting Using Swirls & Dots Background

The corners of yellow card stock were cut with Fiskars’ Art Deco scissors. “Swirls & Dots Background” was stamped with a tinted embossing pad and the left of the card was embossed with rose glitter embossing powder, while the right side was embossed with a turquoise embossing powder. “Have a Wonderful Birthday!” and part of the “Fireworks” stamp were stamped with a Calypso Kaleidacolor stamp pad on white card stock and both were glued to the “Swirls & Dots Background.” Card by Davetta Alexander.
